Being the worlds finest didn’t help Superman and Batman to get away from the might of the New York Police force. It all started when police officers spotted two men dressed up as Superman and Batman trying to panhandle in Times Square. In New York it’s illegal to preform in costume in public without a license. The police soon approached and asked the men if they had any ID they both said “No”. While being questioned further the officers asked again if they had any ID and again the pair said “No”. The officers soon cuff Batman aka. Frank Frisoli without any resistance but when a female officer tried to hand cuff the other hero Superman aka. Maksin Katsnelson, he decided to punch her in the face yelling “I’m not getting arrested!”. Katsnelson put up a struggle while seven of New York’s finest had to hold him down to try to hand cuff him as well.
It didn’t end too badly soon Maksin Katsnelson was arrested and was charged with assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest while Frank Frisoli was released because he didn’t cause any problems. As Superman was being taken away to the Midtown South Station house, Batman decided to leave with another costumed character but this time it was the Statue of Liberty.
That’s what you get D.C. for sending your top patsies into Marvel territory.

It’s really amazing how many people dress up as super heroes and try to panhandle in New York. A few years back I saw Spiderman in Times Square who made out with a lot of money from tourists.
