I don’t know why I keep digging up the news that everybody else is to embarassed to report, but according to … uhm… erm … ahh.  ok fine it’s destinyschildrumors.com. They are reporting from what I’m sure is a very solid, but unnamed source that Beyonce Knowles will play Jennifer Banner/She-Hulk in the upcoming Avengers movie. Earlier news that Transformers 2 ROTF star Meagan Fox would be the one Hulking up to play Bruce Banner’s brainy yet brawny cousin for either a solo flick or The Avengers movie met mixed reactions from netizens everywhere. But how could anyone complain about this news? With her latest movie Obsessed earning top spots at the box office this weekend it appears that after conquering music, dramatic and comedy movies, the Austin Powers 3 star has her sights set on the superhero genre. Who knows, She Hulk today, Wonder Woman tomorrow?

In a related side note, other than the fact that some goof actually reported this news, I’m totally joking. Not only am I goofing on the jerkoffs who report celebrity news, I’m about as excited about this as I am at the news that Will Smith might be Captain America or that Chris Pine would be Green Lantern Hal Jordan. If Beyonce plays She Hulk, this geek is staying home…and in case you were wondering, it’s not a black thing either. She’s just not a good enough actor to be in a superhero movie. She is smoking hot though, so enjoy the pic at least.
