Can you tell we're a little obsessed with Legos at eatsleepgeek?

It’s finally starting to trickle out. More and more tidbits about the sequel to everyone’s favourite undersea adventure are sprouting up. This time in the form of gameplay footage. If you’ve been following the development of Bioshock 2 there shouldn’t be a lot of surprises here but it’s still thrilling to see in action. The video teases at some set-pieces not unlike the first game. I, for one, am relieved that the game retains that same murky Rapture vibe. Having trolled my way through some forums here and there I’ve seen people complaining that Bioshock 2 seems like more of an expansion pack than a full game. First, fuck you and second, so what? I loved the look of the first game and don’t care if it looks similar. I appreciate the small, numerous improvements that are implemented in sequels much more than complete overhauls of the engine. I’m really looking forward to being on the other side of that divers mask more. Although, if you have to protect the little sisters more than just a few times it may become a nuisance. And while I couldn’t bring myself to harm a single one of those precocious munchkins in the first Bioshock, there’s no telling what I’d do if I have to restart just because some little girl couldn’t watch her own back!
