Before you go on sayin’ Dan you so crazy! I’d like to say “yes I am”, at this very moment I’m trying to cut an image of Leisure Suit Larry in the left hand side of my forehead. All kidding aside I thought this might be an opportunity to tap into our female audience on looking good while still embracing their geeky side. Now don’t be alarmed ladies/men if you haven’t heard the website Evening Arwen, I was just as dumb founded as you were when I heard the name as I stumbled on this little site truly by accident, really! If you’re wondering what Evening Arwen is, it’s a website dedicated to the customization of designer costumes and corsets. The ones that got me all interested in viewing the site were the ones designed to look like they came out of both Star Trek and Star Wars. Sure there are others if your not into the whole space fantasy idea, there are ones that look like they should be from the book Lord of the Rings or any of the many other medieval fantasy books out there in the market place.

As you can see from the images above these are both ones based off of the movie Star Wars. The black Darth Vader looking one is called the “Galactic Lord Corset” while the other is the “Galactic Trooper Corset”.

These ones of course are the Star Trek versions. Sure the red one is dead sexy but sadly she won’t last the next ground exploration mission. There’s no funny names of these ones just “Yellow Trekkie Corset, Blue Trekkie Corset…etc”

These are for you out there that enjoy the idea of living in the land of knights in shinning armor, dragons, and the black plague.

Since I have no idea how much corsets generally cost all I can say from looking at these on the site is that they are damn pricey, they range from $50 to $600. If some of you ladies want to check out the site I’ll have the link at the bottom of the page and I better see some of you wearing some of these at the next Con or Expo I attend.
If you don’t like Expo’s and Con’s then who knows maybe you can get one and have a little fantasy night. If your not really into corsets at all you can check out their hand made costumes. This one is Alice in Wonderland.
