batman robin cassaday ESG Rewind: Capes and Corsets

ESG Rewind returns this week with a look at the top news items this week at the ol’ gargoyle ranch. CB Robinson kicked off the week with a look at the internet’s reaction to this year’s E3 and his accurate analysis of the data reinforced the well-known fact that the internets contain absolutely no predictable reasoning ie the Xbox Twitter and Xbox Facebook revelation. Robinson also wrote a feature this week on the recent release of new Bat-title Batman and Robin, giving his Top Ten Reasons Why A Dead Bruce Wayne is Good for Batman (the new ongoing series). It’s safe to say that Chickenbone will follow this situation closely. Dan X. reviewed the long-awaited release of Fan Boys on Blu-Ray, once again proving that Star Wars is, in fact, still relevant; and also that ‘fanboys’ have a sense of humor. The poorly misguided and ad hominem attacks of certain fanboys represent the minority, despite their Cheeto-stained fist-raising. Along with his review, Dan X. covered the iPhone news from this weeks WWDC, causing instant personal buyer’s remorse regarding my recently purchased (2 weeks) iPhone 3G. In addition, Dan X.’s appreciation for the female form manifested itself in news items on both a World of Warcraft pornstar, and geek corsets. CMFT delivers this week with another installment of The Second Best Thing Cool Terry Pulled this Week, featuring a take the new mini-series Werewolves on the Moon Vs. Vampires, which the crew at ESG are really digging, with all the B-movie humor and fun of a summer blockbuster. That’s it for this week’s ESG Rewind, bagged and boarded.
