esg pixel ESG Rewind: PixelatedThe news at ESG had a slight videogame slant this week, with CB Robinson covering news on the Japanese PSN Store release of the best-selling turn-based RPG on the Playstation, Squaresoft’s Final Fantasy VII; new details on the arrival of a new assassin in the Ubisoft title Assassin’s Creed; the impressive Batman: Arkham Asylum collector’s edition set, featuring a batarang; the upcoming CIVIL WAR taking place in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2; and the trials and tribulations of a puppet in Resident Evil 5. CB Robinson also took time to contemplate the news of Gore Verbinski focusing on direction the big screen adaptation of 2k Boston’s FPS epic, Bioshock 2, in addition to ‘Batman 3′ rumors. Paul J. is waiting in anticipation of the new Stargate series Stargate Universe and goes over the details of the new series in a 2-part feature; at the same time he’s  curious as to where he can go to further his obsession with Jewel Staite after the end of Stargate: Atlantis. The 20th anniversary of everone’s favorite console peripheral, the Power Glove, did not go unnoticed by retrogamologist Dan X. He went on to geek out over a new DIY Power Glove mod. It’s almost enough to make one exclaim: ‘I love the Power Glove; it’s so bad.’ Almost. And Seth Rogen invokes the name of Garth Ennis amongst the list of his favorite comic writers, minus Robert Kirkman. And Andrea the Girl Gamer laments the absence of a North American release of Fatal Frame IV
