Guess what month it is??!!!  That’s right, it’s July, and it’s time for another look at the crazy world of Gadgets and Gizmos. I would like to take the time to thank the greatest people in the world: the people at R&D teams around the world (Research and Design if you didn’t know). You are the backbone that creates the wants and needs that make this world go round. If it wasn’t for your hard work, this economy would be in a much worse situation than it is right now. So please everyone put your hands together for these people that work long and hard to bring you some of the coolest/crappiest items around.

Now I got that over with, it’s time to start the show.

1) MicroFridge
First on my list is one of the most orgasmic pieces of technology EVER created (unless something cooler comes by). This will revolutionize your life, especially if you live in a college dorm or if your a crackhead WoW gamer with no life. No one should ever be without a MicroFridge. This little bit of marvel in technology combines your standard cooking appliance, the trusty Microwave, and your very, very important Refrigerator. But wait that’s not all. Having such a combination would sadly eat up valuable outlet space, and the people behind such an awesome design have thought of that. That’s why each MicroFridge has a set of power plugs in the front near the microwave. Talk about ingenious design! These versatile fridges can be purchased at microfirdge.com, with pricing ranges from $345-$719 (USD).

2) Coca-Cola’s 100 Flavor Soda Fountain
You heard correct, 100 flavors of your favorite Coke and Coke-related products. This machine will make all other drink fountains quake in it’s presence with it’s triple-color (that’s if you classify black as a color) paint scheme, an LCD display touch screen which allows you to select any drink Coca-Cola makes, Coca-Cola’s innovative cartridge system which helps cut down on large and very heavy tanks used for flavor and carbonation, and the ability to order more cartridge’s automatically with RFID technology, which can sense the depletion of each flavor. All hail the all-powerful Coke machine. More info can be seen at fastcompany.com

3) Batman Cufflinks
When you’re girlfriend/wife tells you to get ready for a formal event she has been “apparently” telling you about for months, don’t be too disappointed. Tonight you finally get a chance to slip in these babies, a set of Batman Cufflinks. Now you can hit the town in style, and who knows, you might actually need them to strike fear in a criminal or two while flashing the most feared symbol in all of D.C. comics. You can purchase these at cufflunks2wear.com but you’ll have to hurry, they only have 50 units in stock as of this post, going for $84.15 (USD).

4) Darth Vader Lightsaber Flashlight
I don’t know why anyone hasn’t thought of this at all yet. It only makes the most sense turning the look of Darth Vader’s Dark Side lightsaber into a utility flashlight. Nothing too too special about this little item; you can’t cut a TaunTaun with it, but this thing does make sound effects (authentic sound effects that is) of your classic lightsaber. I’m sure that this would be perfect for that special someone who is really really into Star Wars. Oh and by the way, you can pick it up at Star Wars Shop for $24.99 (USD).

5) Hunt and Peck Keyboard
You know for those people who can’t use QWERTY key boards. This is an idea that should have reached shelves years ago. This keyboard actually supports your classic (normal) QWERTY along with the keys all set in correct alphabetical order such as A, B, C, etc. Another cool function is that the secondary functions of the “F” Keys are pre-set for chat language such as LOL or CYA (OMG). In my opinion this keyboard might a little too late to be useful. People (even people who can’t really type) are so used to seeing a standard QWERTY keyboard that this would just confuse them even more. If this keyboard suits your needs, you can purchase this keyboard at fastfingerkeyboards.com for a whopping $21.99 (USD) (try not to break the bank.
