GI Joe Sequel in the Works

I don’t know that you could consider this news, but apparently the entire internet is reporting that there will be a sequel to GI Joe:The Rise of Cobra. Despite the fact that Paramount threw nothing but shit at directorStephen Sommers after the movie was finished it looks like GI Joe has performed well enough at the box office this weekend to warrant a sequel. When I first heard the grief Paramount was giving Sommers I really hoped that the movie would turn out to be a success, at least in terms of ticket sales. Well it appears I got my wish (in retrospect I should have wished for something better) as Paramount Studios’ vice chairman Rob Moore told The LA Times that we will be getting a sequel one summer soon.
