Well not really, a live action Rocket Robin Hood would be to awesome to actually be true. However, riskybusinessblog.com is reporting that Atlas Entertainment and Hollywood Gang will be teaming up with Warner Brothers to bring a futuristic update of Robin Hood. The movie will be directed by Nicolai Fuglsig the creative genius who brought us the Underdog vs. Stewie Griffin parade floats fighting over a bottle of Coke commercial. While that’s not exactly a guarantee of box office gold the concept sounds awfully cool.

Set in a dystopian London of the future, while plot details are few right now I think it’s safe to assume that it will be about a group of merry thieves who help restore hope to a people who have lost faith living life under the thumb of an oppressive governing regime rule with an iron fist. That’s just my best guess though. Lets cross our fingers for an underdog cameo.
