Wednesday we filled you in on the latest Green Lantern gossip from Drew McWeeny at Hitfix.com who was reporting that director Martin Campbell was very close to making it official that Bradley Cooper would be putting on Hal Jordan’s ring in the upcoming Warner Brothers movie. My experience has always been that Drew is usually a lock when he throws out casting rumors. However, latinoreview.com an equally trustworthy rumor site is now saying that Shawn Roberts is likely to take on the role. To further complicate things, the name Brian Austin Green refuses to go away whenever a Green Lantern movie conversation comes up. So who exactly will get the role? I have no idea I just wish Martin Campbell would make up his mind because it’s driving me crazy. Green Lantern has always been one of my favorite superheroes, Geoff Johns is, in my humble opinion, the best writer in comics (focusing on them full time) today, and ending the speculation and making it official would set my mind at ease that the movie will get made.

If anybody cares, I’ve never seen any of them act so I don’t know about that, but I think that Shawn Roberts looks the most like Hal Jordan. Here’s a pic of Hal and all three of the candidates so you can decide for yourself. Let us know what you think too.
