What happens when Mega Man meets the auto-tuned rhymes of a College Dropout? That question is answered in the form of a fan-made music video for Kanye West’s tribute to obsessed, over-bearing girlfriends, RoboCop. The track oontains references to the 1987 sci-fi classic, as well as Stephen King’s Misery. The fan-made music video was created by Mykola Dosenko, and features the 8-bit Mega Man-inspired adventures of a female robot. It’s a skillfully edited music video that deftly traverses through the song lyrics, urging the character forward with the familiar refrain ‘Ok, Ok, Ok’ and then commands the adventurer to ‘Drop it!’. This fan-made effort, uploaded to YouTube and GameVideos is hopefully only the first in a series of fan-made videos from Dosenko. Until we get an LL Cool J/Punch-Out combo, enjoy the video.
