Selma and Patty would be over joyed, smoking pack after pack of cigarettes while waiting for their heartthrob to rear his ugly head onto the silver screen. That’s right, New Line’s Richard Brener made it official: MacGyver is going to be given the silver screen treatment. There’s a good chance that they’re going to need some one else to play MacGyver, since Richard Dean Anderson is a little old. My choice for this generation’s MacGyver: Ashton Kutcher. He can play intelligent. I’m sure of it.

Is this blogger going to see the movie when it comes out? Outlook not so good. But you never know, I just might be bored enough to go and see it anyways.

It might be a year or two before we see McGyver try to build a jet aeroplane out of a tube of glue, three hairs from his head and a bar of soap. Until then I have to give kudos to Digital Spy for their leak. You can view the story here .
