And for the record, I hated <em>Sex and the City</em> too. “The female demographic”?!?

It's not about opening doors to new markets or customers bases, if that were the case don't you think that they would have put a real writer and a real artist on the project. It's just a shitty idea, plain and simple. I didn't miss "the female demographic", I'm well aware of the fact that women shop and spend money. But if you were a comic reader you'd know that this isn't going to spark any interest from people who don't read comics already. All it's going to do is piss off people who read comics already. You can convince yourself all you want that its a strategic move on Marvel's part all you want, but you'd still be stupid. The people who might enjoy this wouldn't go into a comic store to pick this up. And it's not a "graphic novel". Don't talk about what should be in comic stores when you've clearly never been in one before. It’s not a “venture” it’s a comic book.
