It appears that the folks at Fox have found the proverbial smoking gun they were looking for. When X-Men Origins:Wolverine hit the internet before it hit theaters the media giant swore that they would find and prosecute those responsible. So with a sense of purpose not seen since OJ Simpson dedicated his life to tracking down his ex wife’s killer Fox launched an unprecedented manhunt to find the parties responsible. After several months of tireless round the clock investigating it appears that the fine folks at Fox finally have their man, and It’s Newscorp CEO Rupert Murdoch.

That’s right, 2 separate accounts have fingered the very man who runs Fox Entertainment Group’s parent company Newscorp as being indirectly responsible for the leak of one of this summer’s hottest movies. While discrepancies exist with regards to the details, apparently Murdoch’s insistence on getting a copy of the almost finished movie to screen with friends on his yacht prior to the theatrical release, gave an unscrupulous employee a chance to make him or herself a copy. You know the rest of the story, the sticky fingered data thief took the copy and disseminated it across the internet in what is rumored to be the most costly movie leak in the history of entertainment.

Rupert Murdoch has vowed to waterboard the individual or individuals responsible.
