A Mighty Morphin’ Power Ranger actor was sentenced to death yesterday for the murder of Thomas and Jackie Hawks back in 2004.

The couple was said to be in the market to sell their yacht and was taking it on a test cruise with prospective buyer Skylar Deleon (yup, Skylar, guys in prison must love him).

The yacht later returned from the cruise but neither Tom nor Jackie were seen again, their bodies have never been found.

The defense tried the abused child card to garner sympathy for Deleon and get his sentence reduced to life but the jury replied, “we are not amused”.

Check out Deleon’s scant IMDB profile and before you go crazy trying to figure out which ranger he played, please note that he was only an extra. I’m sure the MMPAs are overjoyed to have this guy being associated with their television show. If anything, this bad press is making the show slightly better, trust me.
