With Monster Hunter Freedom Unite set to hit store shelves in North America next month (it’s been out for a while in Japan)  the good folks at Capcom have launched the game’s  advertising campaign.  It’s sort of an interesting cross between a viral video and a short film; regardless though it’s different(although it does remind me of the Ratchet and Clank commercials a little bit).  The video dosen’t show any game play at all, and actually never even mentions the game by name.  It is  sort of funny though, give it a look and let us know what you think, not only of the videos but of this advertising style as well. If this sort of thing isn’t your cup of tea and you’re dying to see what the new game is going to look like there are also two tutorial videos you might want to check out. But you might not want to….they sure look a lot like the last Monster Hunter game, mind you more of that’s not a terrible thing.
