The new Super Street Fighter IV trailer will have players waiting with sweaty palms, as the anticipation builds up for a late April release date. Nine new characters are added to the title, including many familiar faces. The list of nine include characters from Street Fighter III, Final Fight, and Super Street Fighter II, with one new character. The complete list of new characters:

• Dudley

• Makoto

• Guy

• Cody

• Adon

• Dee Jay

• T. Hawk

• Juri

While most of the new fighters are returning characters from other titles in the Street Fighter series, the trailer ends with a hint at a new, unrevealed male character, taunting players with the phrase “Looks like it’s time to ‘oil up’.” Maybe the new fighter is a Crisco rep with a grudge. If that’s the case, you might want to bring some paper towels. Super Street Fighter IV is set to release April 27; enough time to put down Bioshock 2 and work on your Street Fighter skills. Gonna burn some muscle!
