EA released details about the upcoming downloadable content for Fight Night Round 4, and it looks like we’ll be going to the judges scorecards for the verdict on this one.

In the blue corner we have the content itself. With Oscar De La Hoya headlining and Vlad and Vitaly Klitschko anchoring the under card I can’t help but drool at the prospect of finally seeing Lennox Lewis square off against Vitaly Klitschko to see who comes out on top. EA is also throwing in alternate versions of James Toney and George Foreman (please let it be George with mutton chops and an afro) for good measure.

In the red corner though there is growing concern that EA should be cutting a little more weight from the price tag. At $9.99 it’s pretty tough to justify a purchase to anybody but the most hardcore of fight fans.

In the end buying the pack squeaks out a narrow split decision in my mind, but I’m a pretty big fight fan. We’ll have to see what everybody else thinks about shelling out 10 bones for 2 skins, 2 B-list fighters, and one guy who should have been in the game in the first place, not sure that equates to a majority decision for EA Sports.
