Just when you thought that the Rambo franchise would end with the third installment along came a forth movie with Stalone trying to jump start his career once again. The movie was (or I felt) what we all expected the next iteration of how Rambo should be. But of course due to such success of Rambo, Stalone decided to work on a fifth installment of one of the greatest action characters ever. Enter Rambo five, and the info buzzing around was the idea of Rambo traveling to Mexico. Why? I have no idea, but that wasn’t all; the rumor mill was also spinning the idea of it a western Rambo movie. Oddly enough I think but it would be interesting seeing John Rambo be in places other than the jungle. Well it’s now time to rest assure readers the Mexico idea is officially de-bunked. I just got news over at Horror-Movies.ca (warning if you view the site and you’re a horror fan, you might become addicted) that Rambo 5 will not be in Mexico, it will instead be in the Arctic. That’s right, Ol’ army man will be headed out in the vast wilderness of the Arctic Circle. Apparently Stallone is planning to take the novel Hunter by author James Byron Huggins and transform that into Rambo: The Savage Hunt. Oh there’s even more; the story apparently will have a horror edge:
“John Rambo and his hunting partner Beau Brady (which I think is odd, I thought Rambo always worked alone) link up with a team of highly-skilled special forces team who must face a grueling terror, that of a half-human abomination created by a renegade agency which is headed towards civilization. It’s up to Rambo and the team to track this thing down and stop it, but how do they stop something that has become immortal?”
That’s about the condensed version of the story but you can check the rest here.
Now if your one of the lucky people going to the Toronto Film Festival be prepared to see the man himself, Silvester Stalone because, he will be bringing a newly printed poster for Rambo 5. Can’t wait.

Who knew Sly could rock the sombrero and snap necks at the same time?
From Rambo to Zombo?
“will be headed” and “is headed”??? Surelye you mean “will be heading” and “is heading”? Did you sleep through English class?
