I spend so much time sifting through Batman 3 rumors I’m worried I might end up in Arkham. Nevertheless here I come again with two new rumors that I’m sure you’ve already heard, but what the hell I figure I’ll run it up the flagpole anyway. First the news that probably isn’t true, or at the very least isn’t something most batmaniacs are doing cartwheels over. According to MTV’s splashpage blog Megan Fox, the second hottest female in Transformers 2 has been attached to the role of Selina Kyle; that’s Catwoman to those of you who only come here with hopes of getting some fantasy football tips. Now I’ve seen Megan Fox in a handful of movies, some of them she was featured prominently in. However I still haven’t seen enough of her acting skills to know whether she has the talent to pull off Catwoman. Based solely on her hood opening and engine checking skills, I would be prepared to give her due consideration though. The mock public service announcement she did for Jennifer’s Body was pretty cool too. I don’t think it’s true, but if it turns out to be factual, I’m still in for the event.

The other tidbit making the rounds concerning Bruce Wayne’s next stop on the big screen is pretty awesome though. Remember how when you were watching The Dark Knight and every once in a while you would get a shot that was so breathtaking you couldn’t believe you were watching an action movie? Then by about the fourth time you’d seen the movie you realized that it was a scene that had been shot with the Imax 70 mm cameras and you couldn’t believe that seeing something shot for Imax looked cool even though it wasn’t on a four mile high screen. Well word on the street (I’m not sure which street, I hope it’s not Crime Alley) is that the entire third Batman movie will be shot in Imax. That’s right, the whole f’n movie. Now I found hundreds of sites reporting the news, but when I looked nobody had a source on it, so don’t take it to the bank yet. It’s just so awesome though, please let it be real.
