As a long time listener to The Howard Stern Show, I’ve had the privilege of listening to the entire reel of William Shatner talk about how he doesn’t say sabotage, he says sabotaaage a couple of times.  If you ever get to hear Stern give his thoughts on Shatner and this prima donna expose, make sure you listen to it, Shat is funny enough on his own but Stern and Artie Lange breaking it down for the listeners is just some of the greatest radio I’ve ever heard. Which of course makes this confession all the more embarrassing; as much as I thought it was cool that they chose to play some Beastie Boys during “the Kirk Kidz steals the car” scene.  It took me 17 hours to realize that having the song Sabotage on the radio they were paying homage to the infamous outtake.  Here’s a short clip from You Tube I found. that sums it up.  The whole thing is better though if you can find it. It’s embarrassing when you catch yourself sleeping, but I’ve been laughing about it ever since, so I thought I’d throw it out there in case you missed it.

In other Howard Stern / Star Trek news, last week Stern predicted that the movie would gross $79 million this weekend when he had JJ Abrams in the studio, Abrams apparently didn’t have the confidence in the flick that Stern did as he told the shock jock that if the movie hit that number he would blow the self proclaimed King of All Media. 4 days and 79 million bucks later, I am boldly predicting we won’t be seeing JJ Abrams on the Stern Show any time soon
