For some of you out there who had and loved the original Sonic games that first started on the Genesis so many years ago, but hated the new 3d version of your favorite hedgehog, well don’t fret. Sega is finally back at it creating an all new 2d version. Will this be all animation as it was in the old school version or will there be any “flat” 3d backgrounds or characters (“flat” 3d are levels or characters designed in 3d but act in a 2d way)?  Were’re not sure yet,  what we do know is that Sega has been working from the ground up, trying to give you the same playing experience as you had those oh so many years ago, but this time in HD. I just hope it works out like Street Fighter II HD did from Capcom. Check out the Teaser bellow and if you’re an old school fan like me, you’ll be totally stoked. SEGA!!!!!!

I wonder if we’ll also see a return of Golden Sonic???
