When I first heard that there might be a viral campaign tied to the upcoming release of JJ Abrams prequel to Star Trek I thought it was pretty unnecessary, I just figured that between the legions of devoted trekkies, Chris Pine’s CB Robinson like good looks, and the summer movie season no matter what happened allot of people were going to see this flick.

After looking at the depth, that Trek Fans went to, in order to figure out what was going on, I think it’s pretty impressive though.
