Normally Dan looks after this sort of stuff, but these were so good I couldn’t help myself from sharing them from you. In my morning trek across the internet I came across two must have Star Wars nerd-out items. First is the trash compactor book ends. I can’t believe nobody thought of these sooner. They’re not available until April 2010 but you can pre order them at entertainmentearth.com if you’re as keen as I am to get these bad boys up on your bookshelf. We’re not getting paid to push entertainment earth on you either. We just provided the link because they are an awesome company, and clearly they stock great stuff. Here’s a picture of the bookends in action.

The other sweet Star Wars item I found was lightsaber chopsticks. Whether your color preference when it comes to steel melting, appendage slicing, humming swords is green, red, or blue Kotobukiya has you covered if you want to be the coolest looking mofo in the sushi bar. Unfortunately if you’re in North America it looks like you’ll have to import them yourselves as they aren’t listed on Kotobukiya’s US website (which has tons of cool things and is still worth a visit even if you can’t order chopsticks there). However, if you still want to be a champion of the force and the sashimi at the same time geek stuff 4 U is letting you pre order them for less than 15 bucks. While I can’t vouch for their awesomeness as a company like I can for Entertainment Earth, I can vouch for their awesomeness in taste…c’mon they sell lightsaber chopsticks, their taste is impeccable.
