The Old Republic
I don’t know if the french site StarWars-Universe.com is what I consider to be a truly credible source of information, but they are citing an anonymous source that works at Bioware who says right now the upcoming Star Wars MMORPG The Old Republic is scheduled for an October 2010 release. While this is hardly earth shattering news, the way I see it any news that even remotely has anything to do with the Bioware created Star Wars MMO is good news because it reminds me that one day I will be able to play it. Hows that for geeky?

But at least now I have cause to harass the PR people at Bioware and Lucasarts to check if they will offer up any tidbits of info about game play, beta testing, or even about the music. I doubt they will have anything good, but if I’m wrong you’ll be the first to know.

In the mean time check out the google translation of the french site originally reporting the news, that alone is worth the click.
