Well I have just come across what could possibly be the greatest news ever to printed (10 to 15 years to late) it would seem that  new production company, Flagship Films, is coming to us from producers Alison Semenza and Todd Moyer.  That news that you’re waiting for, is that Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme are set to be in a movie together called Weapon. Now this news was leaked early and the actors have not officially been signed yet ,so lets hope they do. The only thing that could make this better is if Chuck Norris got in one the action as well.

Alison Semenza has been the producer for such movies as Half Past Dead (Seagal, Ja Rule) , ZigZag (John Leguizamo, Wesley Snipes, Oliver Platt) , Pursued (Christian Slater) , Green Dragon (Patrick Swayze, Forest Whitaker), Walking Tall: The Payback (Kevin Sorbo), Lost Boys: The Tribe, and Powder Blue (Jessica Biel, Forest Whitaker, Ray Liotta, Patrick Swayze, Kris Kristofferson).

While Todd Moyer has brought us Time Cop (Jean-Claude Van Damme), Barb Wire (Pamela Anderson), Virus (Jamie Lee Curtis, William Baldwin, Donald Sutherland, And i know one of our writers personal favorites (I’m looking at you Paul) Wing Commander (Freddie Prinze Jr., Saffron Burrows, Matthew Lillard).

The plot behind Weapon is as follows, Jack Conway (Steven Seagal) and Derek Chase (Jean-Claude Van Damme) are the two best assassins in the world but do not know about each other. Conway is a master sharpshooter while Chase is your knife guy. These two assassins team up (reluctantly) to take down the head of a drug cartel backed by the DEA. Principal photography for this movie is schedule for July 2009 in and around the Vancouver and New Mexico area.

I don’t know about the rest of you but i really hope the do sign on to do this film fan boys around the world have been waiting for this the last like 15 years and it’s not like they havn’t done bad movies before or have any thing else on there respective plates, I don’t see how they can turn this down.
