CardboardTube155 screen Tekken 6 Gets a Release Date and 2 Awesome Deluxe Editions
For those of you who have been holding their breath for Tekken 6, Namco Bandai have announced that their flagship fighting franchise will make its way onto retail shelves in North America on October 27th. The rest of the world will have their launch dates sometime around then as well. It’s been a long time coming for fans of the series, and to make up for launching a game 4 years after it was announced Namco is giving us two sweet pre-order incentives. The first bundle will retail for $149.99 and will throw in a Hori wireless fight stick as well as a Tekken 6 art book. If you don’t have a fight stick this is an awfully cool bonus, although it’s not exactly a screaming deal. The second pre-order package is available at no extra charge for those gamers willing to lay down a deposit on the game with GameStop (it’s exclusive to that undead weasel company) and it will give gamers the downloadable Penny Arcade Samurai Pack which will let you use the cardboard tube samurai costume for Yoshimitsu, as well include some limited edition Samurai Battle Banners for any of the 40 fighters in the game. Finally, Namco will throw in a Tekken 6 calendar (what ever that is, I think i heard my Aunt talk about calemders once, but she’s mental) for good measure.
