Self proclaimed “comic fan”(more on that later) Terrence Howard has dropped the bombshell that he is the walking modern day equivalent of Green Lantern Corp member John Stewart. In a sit down with MTV, where the majority of the discussion was about him not being in Iron Man 2, Howard teased that he is very interested in making the switch from Marvel to DC and would love to play Green Lantern John Stewart.

This is the part were we really learn how huge a fan of comics Terrence is. According to Howard “He dosn’t become black until the third movie”. I guess this hints at 2 things, first WB probably has a Green Lantern trilogy planned, second that Terrence Howard is a moron. I don’t want to nitpick here, but c’mon would a real fan of the comic talk about how “he” becomes black? Nerdynewsflash Terrence there’s no “he” when you’re talking about Green Lantern. There are a group of them meathead. Of course anybody who has ever read three Green Lantern comics would know that. There’s nothing worse than somebody pretending to be a geek. It’s enough to make me sick.

I guess the good news is that we might be seeing 3 Green Lantern movies. I don’t know if there’s a script for all three, but please Warner Brothers….Please. Hire Geoff Johns to supervise the story, anything less will be a disaster. Now please excuse me, apparently the cop who pulled me over for blogging from my phone while driving has turned black and wants to talk to me again.
