When I said that I totally hated Wolverine, I sort of lied. There was one part that I really loved. It wasn’t the hilarity that ensued when Ryan Reynolds got in the elevator, it wasn’t Schreibertooth’s blood lust montage, and it wasn’t the climactic ending. It was the trailer for Shane Acker’s up coming animated flick 9. The movie seems to have Tim Burton’s name all over it, and even though he is only the producer his influence is pretty evident, at least from the trailer. Timur Bekmambetov also gets producing credits, in fact if you give your mobile number up to the movie’s official site Timur will phone you and give you access to a special unreleased scene, he might even give you a copy of Wanted, I hear there are a few that nobody wanted laying around.

I just made the Wanted part up, but you really can get a look at an unreleased scene by coughing up your cell phone number to the movie’s official site. For those of you who are to paranoid to give you number out to the wasteland we call the internet (myself included) there is a new trailer up you can check out. 9 comes to theaters on September 9th(9/9/09) and features the voice talents of Elijah Wood, John C Reilly, Jennifer Connelly, Crispin Glover, Christopher Plummer, and Martin Landau. There are not many times a movie I’ve never heard of hits me with a trailer that really gets me excited, but 9 was one of those times. It looks great and if you’ve seen the first trailer I know you’ll check this one out, and if you haven’t be sure to give it a click. You won’t be disappointed, at least not “wolverine disappointed”
