It’s news time again people and I bring for your viewing pleasure (or displeasure; your choice really) the full length trailer of The Astonishing X-Men : Gifted motion comic, based on the seminal comic story by Joss Whedon and John Cassaday, available October 28th on iTunes. Now there is divided opinion on this run in the comic world; people either love it or hate it. I don’t care either way. I feel anything that brings people into the world of comics is a good thing (except for shit movies which then allow douche bags to speak with some kinda authority on comics like they have spent the last 15 years of their adult life locked in the basement of their parents house eating cheetos, drinking mountain dew and reading comics… not that I would know whats that’s like or anything). Yeah so if an X-men story in this medium brings in new readers to the comic world I’m all for it (even if I wont buy this stuff).
