Phantom HourglassI have to admit, though owning a fair few Zelda games, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass was the one and only game I was able to beat.

I am so in love with Phantom Hourglass and its use of the stylus and dual screens, as well as the storyline, that I have a standing order to buy any new Zelda games to come out for the DS.

It just so happens that recently my hero-of-the-moment, Satoru Iwata, Nintendo’s president, unveiled the next installment of Zelda for the DS – The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

From what I can make of the various trailers and sneek peeks around the web and my careful deductions as a world-class detective (take that Batman), there seems to be a train theme present in the upcoming game. I’m not sure yet how this will effect gameplay, as it may turn out to be frustrating more than fun, but expect to hear me gush over it none-the-less when more details are released.

Check out Joystiq, and Kotaku for more.

  1. Don’t ever compare yourself to Batman again,  EVER

  2. I know, I’ve already gotten hate mail from Robin.
